Q1. What's changing and when?
The tools and content on UHCWest.com will transition to UnitedHealthcareOnline.com and Link beginning in March 2017. These changes will take place over several months. You can get started with UnitedHealthcareOnline.com and Link today by registering for an Optum ID and connecting it to your tax identification number (TIN). That way, you'll be ready to use UnitedHealthcareOnline.com and Link as soon as they're available. You can continue to use UHCWest.com until each transaction tool moves. We'll let you know when transaction tools are scheduled to be removed from UHCWest.com.
Q2. What is Link?
Link will be your one-stop-shop for the claims, eligibility and benefit information you need for most UHC West and other UnitedHealthcare members. Link apps can help you get what you need faster - and without picking up the phone.
Q3. What do I need to do?
If you haven't already, you need to register for an Optum ID. Go to UnitedHealthcareOnline.com > New User to get started. Once you have your Optum ID, connect it to your TIN so that you can use Link and UnitedHealthcareOnline.com.
Q4. What if I don't remember whether I have an Optum ID?
If you can't remember your Optum ID or password, click on Sign In on the UnitedHealthcareOnline.com home page, then select Forgot Optum ID or Forgot Password. You can reset your password, if needed.

Yes, Link training sessions are available at UnitedHealthcare Online > Tools & Resources > Training & Education. Quick Reference Guides for each function are also available at UnitedHealthcareOnline.com > Help > Link. For training beyond these resources, please submit an eSolutions Training Request.
