We're Moving!  

In 2017, UnitedHealthcare will retire and transition the website's users to and Link. During the transition, users will continue to have access to the content and tools they need on and we'll let you know when these are moving. We'll post regular updates to the 2017 Summary of Changes document below for users, so check back often for more information.

Q1. What's changing and when?

The tools and content on will transition to and Link beginning in March 2017. These changes will take place over several months. You can get started with and Link today by registering for an Optum ID and connecting it to your tax identification number (TIN). That way, you'll be ready to use and Link as soon as they're available. You can continue to use until each transaction tool moves. We'll let you know when transaction tools are scheduled to be removed from

Link will be your one-stop-shop for the claims, eligibility and benefit information you need for most UHC West and other UnitedHealthcare members. Link apps can help you get what you need faster - and without picking up the phone.

Q3. What do I need to do?

If you haven't already, you need to register for an Optum ID. Go to > New User to get started. Once you have your Optum ID, connect it to your TIN so that you can use Link and

Q4. What if I don't remember whether I have an Optum ID?

If you can't remember your Optum ID or password, click on Sign In on the home page, then select Forgot Optum ID or Forgot Password. You can reset your password, if needed.

Q5. Is training available?

Yes, Link training sessions are available at UnitedHealthcare Online > Tools & Resources > Training & Education. Quick Reference Guides for each function are also available at > Help > Link. For training beyond these resources, please submit an eSolutions Training Request.
